I like the way you order your meal in the bar attached to the restaurant and when the meal is ready you are seated in the restaurant. Service in the restaurant is excellent and the food is top quality. Great choice of breakfast items.
I did not like the wool blankets on the bed. I would prefer a duvet as I have eczema.

Location, free Internet, available food nearby and nearby shops
Internet needed 30 minute configuration from an IT worker, no Leisure Center to use, car park quite small to cater for the Busilding and location, kettle didnt work either

We had a great stay here, the weather was warm, the location near the canals was convenient, just a 5-minute walk to downtown, and the staff were competent and friendly.

I actually did not like much about this olf run down rather tired place.Very veyr drpessing and old.Brass not polished, no help at all with cases,
The hotel is old and run down and in need of a total facelife. On entering that was said to be an executive room, I enquired at reception had the furnature been stolen....It just had nothing going for it. Hollidle orand/brown bed coverings and yellowish hospital style walls. This place may have been acceptable twenty five yeats ag oto my Father but not today. The recpetionist looked amazed when I asked were all the room the same. She told me yes, and I replied oh DEAR...she informed me I was the first person to conplain.Possibly others had white sticks, but this place would not be for me...sorry....

My daughter and I had a very relaxing one night stay in the Canal Court on April 9th. It was so pleasant to find a hotel nowadays where your luggage is brought to your room. This simple gesture was much appreciated as us two females can travelled down from Belfast on the train. We had a lovely swim in the Leisure Centre where towels and even the 20p for a locker were provided. We had a very enjoyable dinner in our room with very pleasant room service.Next day we enjoyed our stroll to the very convenient shopping centres.
I would have loved a herbal or green tea in the room on arrival as I can not drink tea with uht milk.

Professionally run.
The restaurant caters more for evenings out than guests staying over a few days. The food is all over rich (although of reasonable quality) and the menu needs to have a good few more healthy and more reasonably priced options. Stopping the bar menu at 7:30 is way too early.

Outstanding food at breakfast served in the bar.
